Special Education Services
Nevada County Superintendent of Schools Special Education Services provides regionalized special education services to students with disabilities throughout Nevada County. Beginning with the infant program which serves ages 0-3 and up through the 8th grade, students are provided a variety of supports and services to meet their individual needs. The program also provides some Designated Instruction and Services (DIS) to high school students. more info
SELPA
The Nevada County Special Education Local Planning Area (SELPA) is committed to providing the leadership and support necessary to create and sustain high-quality educational programs for children with special needs. In achieving this goal, the SELPA works closely with school districts, educational staff, parents and families, and community agencies. more info
